About the event
The ThruDark Mountain Marathons offer this stunning, gritty and challenging 65km Yomp across Eden and the Yorkshire Dales. The circular route takes in Wild Boar Fell, passes the Moorcock Inn, on to Great Shunner Fell, down to Thwaite, Keld, passing through Ravenseat, up to the Nine Standards before heading back to Basecamp. It has 1500m of ascent included. There are three well stocked feed stations along the route. All competitors will be GPS tracked for safety and allowing family and friends to track their progress throughout the day.
Registration and compulsory kit check will open at 6:00am, the race set off is 8:00am and the overall cut off time is 12.5 hours.
