About the event
We’re very excited to announce the first ever YOMP night race, In collaboration with Petzl.
The Petzl Night Yomp is something a bit different. Setting off from Basecamp at 21:00 the route skirts the village of Nateby heading up towards Tailbrigg before turning onto the ridgeline of Birkett Fell. A steep decent into Ladthwaite then leads onto the quarry road before joining the railway walk and the route back to Basecamp.
Designed as a fun challenge, you can run, walk or a bit of both, the race will set off from and return to a party atmosphere with live music, race compere and an energetic warmup.
On arrival back at Basecamp all finishers will receive a YOMP medal and a pint of the specially brewed Night Standards Ale from Settle Brewery.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the music, food and refreshments that will be available at Basecamp
